Hotel - Our four star, ski-in ski-out hotel is "Hotel Kaiserblick." The balcony of your room affords a picture perfect view of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains with the Tyrolian village of Ellmau below. Daily gourmet breakfast and dinner is included at the hotel.
Package Details - The package includes Munich, Germany; ground transportation by rental vehicle for the entire trip; taxes and gratuities; six nights lodging in Ellmau and one night in Munich; breakfast and dinner daily. Not included is lunch, lift tickets (approximately $50/day), and fuel for rental vehicles.
Cost - $1999* based on double occupancy. Single occupancy available for $300 additional. *A small adjustment in price may be necessary due to the fluctuating value of the dollar.

Trip Description - The Wilder Kaiser-Brixental area is the largest ski area in Austria including 10 villages, connected by over 140 ski lifts. This area boasts up to a 4,000 ft. vertical drop and has over quaint mountain restaurants dispersed among hundreds of perfectly groomed ski trails. Entry level skiers will find most of the wide open gentle slopes are located on top of the mountain where they can enjoy the fantastic scenery and lunch stops. Lifts can be ridden down the mountain for those not up to the longer and more difficult trails leading down to our village of Ellmau. The more experienced skiers will enjoy skiing on mile after mile of well marked un-crowded slopes. From village to village and mountain to mountain the trails are so well marked that maps can stay in your pocket! Other diversions include a castle and crystal factory, sleigh rides, night toboggan runs, local disco, Tyrolian dancers and the towns of Kitzbuhel, Salzburg and Innsbruck.

Our 1985 ski group was the first Americans ever to stay at Hotel LaVilla and the staff goes the extra mile to see that we have a perfect stay. A short walk from the hotel is the aerial tramway that takes us up into the Alta Badia to begin our ski adventures. Daily gourmet breakfast and dinner is included at the hotel.

Trip Description - The Super Dolimiti is the largest interconnected ski area in the world! It has more than 470 modern ski lifts. That is over 100 lifts larger than all the resorts in Colorado and Utah combined! You can ski mountain to mountain and village to village on miles of well groomed and well marked trails. Our hotel is located in the Alta Badia, which is in the heart of this magnificent ski area. Entry level skiers can spend all day in the Alta Badia on dozens of interconnected gentle runs including the 5 ½ mile run from Pralongia down to the town of Armentarola, where a shuttle bus is taken to the top of Falzarego Pass. There, a cable car takes you up another 2000 vertical feet to the top of Mt. Lagazuo from which you ski down over 4000 vertical feet to Scutetoni for an Italian barbecue. From there, you can ski a short distance where a horse drawn sleigh pulls you back to where you can finally ski back to your hotel. Intermediates can also enjoy Sellaronda, a ski trip where you follow the signs and ski all the way around the Sella Mt. Group and then back to the hotel. It involves 16 lifts, 5 villages, 4 mountain passes and 28 miles of unbelievable views and interesting sights. For the Advanced and Expert skiers with a lot of endurance, Dennis will take you to ski Marmalada, the glacier. This involves 27 lifts, 4 villages and 53 miles of distance on skis and lifts. After reaching the town of Malga Ciapela, you ride 3 cable cars and one elevator to "the top of the world," you ski down 6000 vertical ft. and then back to our village! This ski area is absolutely as good as skiing gets and can be enjoyed by all ability levels.
Other diversions include tons of shopping, the nearby village of Cortina, site of the 1956 Winter Olympics and shooting location of "For Your Eyes Only." Venice is close enough for a day trip and may be worth taking a day off from skiing to see.

IncludesTransfers to and from Manila Airport, 10- nights lodging at the luxurious Puerto Galera Dive resort which is an Atlantis property. Puerto Galera is on a beautiful beach. Meals are all included. The gourmet meals come with choices and special dietary needs are addressed. The deluxe rooms all have A/C, stocked mini-bar, coffee and tea making, WIFI, cable TV and DVD and more. The resort is beautifully landscaped and has a designer pool. This is the eight-day price for our ten day stay. This includes five boat dives each day (if you want that many) and free nitrox 32%. Smaller rooms for singles at no extra rate. If you can’t stay to enjoy the extra free days the price is the same. Also includes a day’s diving at the world-famous Verde Island.
The Diving: The Sulu Sea of the Philippines has been on my bucket list for over 40 years. When I brought the late Jack McKinney to Nashville for an underwater film festival 40 years ago, I asked him what was the best diving destination he had ever experienced. Without hesitation, he said the Sulu Sea on the west coast of the Philippines and that is next to where we are going. Jack was a world-renowned underwater cinema photographer having produced over 30 documentaries for television as well as filming major movies like “The Deep”, “Jaws”, “Bluewater White Death” and others. He also was editor for Skin Diver magazine for many years and traveled the world to report on diving conditions. Over 76% of all of the worlds coral species are found there and over 180 species of nudibranchs. There are over 650 species of fish (which is six times more than the Caribbean) including whale sharks. There are WW2 ship wrecks to explore as well. On several dive sites drift dives can be made.
Other activities: In 2005, UNESCO, recognized Puerto Galera as the most beautiful bay in the world. There are many on shore adventures. Mountain hiking, tours, waterfalls, visiting Mangyan Village where the nomadic indigenous people are called the aborigines of Mindoro.
The Philippines is an archipelago made up of 7107 islands about 1200 miles long. The population is about 104 million but most reside on eleven larger islands. English is taught through all levels of school and is spoken by all but in some of the mountain tribes’ people. The United States freed the Philippines from Spain in 1898 and it was a U.S. territory until taken over by the Japanese in early in1942 during WW2. The U.S. again freed the Philippines in 1945 and they became an independent country in 1946. Needless to say, the Philippine people love America.

Roatan has long been famous as a world-class diving destination. You will be diving 2 dives in the morning and another in the early afternoon after lunch. One night dive is included. If 15 dives isn't enough you'll have the option of adding more dives for just $25. Nitrox offered at an additional rate. Neptune will provide rental gear if needed at a discounted rate.
